Description
Color print dedicated to the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I. O. O. F.) and captioned, "This print representing the distinguishing characteristics of Odd Fellowship Benevolence, is respectfully dedicated by the Author." The scene depicts a large group of Odd Fellows standing in a hall with windows and portraits behind them. The men are all in full regalia and are accompanied by women and children who are either select family members or beneficiaries. The IOOF was founded in Baltimore, Maryland in 1819 by Thomas Wildey, having evolved from the English Order of the Odd Fellows.
