Stonewall Jackson Infirmary

Description

View of the Stonewall Jackson Infirmary with two men standing on the lower and upper front porches. The infirmary was part of The Confederate Home, which was located at 600-650 Reisterstown Road, Baltimore County, Maryland. The Confederate Soldiers Home was established in 1888, taking over a site that was once a Federal Arsenal. Over 460 Confederate veterans were housed here until its closure in 1932.
