S. S. ‘Hudson’

Description

A group of people survey the steamship "Hudson," which lays on its side at the shipyards in Baltimore, Maryland. The steamship "Kitty Knight" is also visible in the background. The “Hudson” was a 1900-ton steamer owned by Baltimore’s Merchants & Miners Steamship Company. While being repaired in the William Skinner & Sons Shipbuilding and Drydock Company’s yards, it unaccountably turned on its side.
