Portrait of Mrs. Daniel Carroll II and Daniel Carroll III

Description

Three-quarter length portrait shows Eleanor Carroll (1731-1763) as a young woman in brown silk dress with white lace at bodice and cuffs. She holds the infant Daniel Carroll III (1752-1790) in her lap. The infant wears a white cap with blue band, draped in loose white fabric, and white sleeves, and holds silver bells and coral rattle.
