Native Dancer in motion at Sagamore Farm

Description

Portrait of the 1953 Preakness and Belmont Stakes winner, Native Dancer (1950-1967) at Sagamore Farm in Glyndon, Maryland. Bred by Alfred G. Vanderbilt Jr. and raised at Sagamore Farm in the Worthington Valley, Native Dancer was one of the most celebrated and accomplished Thoroughbred racehorses. He was inducted into the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame in 1963.
