Description

The cameo on the lid of this lapis lazuli snuff box is of Jerome Bonaparte. According to the donor files, it was given to Jerome Napoleon by his Uncle Louis, King of Holland. Jerome may, in turn, have given it to Bo when they met in the 1820s.
