Lafayette Barracks, Baltimore, Maryland

Description

Colored print of Baltimore, Maryland's Lafayette Square. Camp Hoffman was established on the site in 1861, and the barracks were in use for the next four years by several Maryland regiments. Regiments from other states were stationed there as well, including the 151st Regiment of New York Volunteers, whose members' names are listed beneath this image of the barracks.
