General Otho Holland Williams

Bust-length portrait depicting General Otho Holland Williams (1749-1794) with ear-length gray wig, seen in three-quarter view facing right. He wears a blue and gold Revolutionary War uniform with a fur-trimmed yellow vest and white shirt and stock. Painted by Rembrandt Peale (1778-1860) after original portrait by Charles Wilson Peale (1741-1827) for Rembrandt's "Gallery of Heroes."
