Epaulet

Description

Major Joshua Dryden (1792-1879), of Worcester County and Baltimore, Fifth Regiment of the Maryland Militia, wore these epaulets during the battles of Bladensburg and North Point. At the time of his death, Dryden was President of the Old Defenders Association.
